<description>you don’t have to emerge from nothingIn You Don’t Have to Emerge from Nothing, I collaborated with my queer friends to re-enact classical sculptures through photogrammetry, creating 3D scans, seeking to reimagine these works, which are at the core of Western representational norms, through a post-normal lens.

The reinterpreted sculptures are presented as holograms to support the re-enactments intertwining temporal spaces. The hologram itself embodies a paradoxical presence—both here and not quite, like a lingering memory suspended in ephemerality, pointing toward sci-fi futures yet to be realized

<description>Life in MarbleLife in Marble is a photographic exhibition exploring
the role the of classical antiquity in configuring the notion of Whiteness and
problematise the adoration of white marble within western culture.

Within this series I re-enacted the works of Italian
Neoclassical sculptor Antonio Canova by re-imagining the myself as each
sculpture. Exploiting my own fat queer body with its physical limitations, and
flawed characteristics and mimicking the seductive shimmer of marble with a cheap
polyester body suit. In my re-telling of Canova faultless sculptures, I want to
deconstruct the fantasy of Whiteness with its perfected moralities and idolised
beauty standards which these and similar marble sculptures represent I want the
realism of my own body to create a sensitive re-reading of these sculpture as
fallible and injudicious and not above scrutiny, and to raise questions about
the motivations behind placing them at the centre of our national collections.

		<description>INNUMERABLE MESSIAHSIn 2013 I
spent four four months trying to live like Jesus, after coming across a Jesus
related weight loss plan online. I decided to go one step further, I dressed
like Jesus, eat like Jesus, and tried to complete Jesus related tasks such as
walking on water and washing feet. I tried to be as close to the character of
the Son of God as possible, but I fell short of making miracles. Instead of
walking on water I plunged into ponds, instead of creating a feeling of
holiness by washing peoples feet, I pretty sure it made them uncomfortable.
